Electrical And Automation Project For

Gulf Potash Company (GPC)

• Project description

An EPC project including all engineering and design documents, providing required electrical and related equipment as well as construction, test and commissioning in three (3) sections: Electrical, instrumentation and automation for Oman Gulf Potash Company located in Muscat, Rusail Industrial Area.

This project, as completed by the Al-Amanah Project department,is outlined as below:

• Providing MCC panels to feed and control of 28 electric motors (3Ph,400VAC,50Hz).
• Installation, test, loop check and commissioning for 45 instruments (Level, Pressure, Temperature, Valves and Switches.
• Automation and control section including: hardware configuration, logic and sequence design based on Allen Bradley CompactLogix Hardware.
• SCADA system design and commissioning including: Process graphic design, alarm and event panel, trends indication, manual start/stop panel test and commissioning based on Allen Bradley Studio 5000 programming software.
